·        Use: naturalize, rain garden, butterfly garden; group or mass in borders, cottage gardens, wild gardens, naturalized areas or meadows

·        Care: low maintenance; deadhead spent flower heads to lateral buds to promote additional bloom; to maintain a compact habit, trim back after first flush of bloom

·        Concerns: no serious insect or disease problems

·        Native to: species native to temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere in Asia, Europe and North America

·        Notes: deer and rabbit resistant; good texture and form; ferny green foliage; heat tolerant; salt tolerant; toxic to dogs, cats, and horses
