·        Use: perennial border, cottage and wildflower gardens; pollinator garden; cut flower

·        Care: mulch well; remove faded flowers to encourage continuous bloom; avoid overhead watering; regular deep watering helps prevent powdery mildew; cut back in late fall and remove debris

·        Concerns: excellent resistance to powdery mildew

·        Native to: interspecific hybrid; species native to Eastern US

·        Notes: compact, upright, well-branched; narrow emerald green leaves; attracts hummingbirds and butterflies; deer and rabbit resistant; Black-Walnut tolerant; tolerant of urban pollution
