·        Moisture: dry to medium; allow soil to dry between waterings; dislikes damp conditions; drought tolerant once established

·        Use: add color and texture to borders, beds, and containers; cut flower/foliage; attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies

·        Care: deadhead to prolong bloom; may be cut back to basal foliage after flowering to improve appearance; protect from excessive winter moisture

·        Notes: clump-forming perennial; glossy, linear, medium green stem leaves; oblong basal foliage; salt tolerant; rabbit and deer resistant
