·        Bloom: magenta pink sprays, most flowers of all heucherellas

·        Light: partial to full shade

·        Soil: well-drained, organically rich soil

·        Moisture: needs regular watering, especially in extreme heat, let dry between watering

·        Use: edging plant, understory plant, or add interest to woodland garden; also does well in containers

·        Care: remove stems of faded flowers to encourage additional bloom; divide in early spring every 2-3 years

·        Concerns: apply winter mulch after ground freezes to prevent root heaving

·        Native to: genus native to North America

·        Notes: deeply cut apple green foliage marked with silver and purple
