·        Bloom: small, creamy-white flowers with hints of blush at their base on slender, wiry stems rising 20 inches above foliage mound

·        Light: thrives in part shade

·        Soil: best in rich, moist, humusy, well-drained soil

·        Use: focal point; front of border, rock garden or container; along pathways; mass planting; cut flower, cut foliage

·        Care: low maintenance; remove stems of faded flowers and dead leaves; apply winter mulch after the ground freeze to help prevent root heaving; divide in early spring every 3-4 years

·        Concerns: no serious insect or disease problems; frost heaving of roots may occur when winter temps fluctuate widely; watch for vine weevil and heuchera rust

·        Native to: hybrid cultivar

·        Notes: low, mounding habit; noted for its large, slightly-ruffled chartreuse foliage; best golden color in filtered shade; more lime green in deeper shade; somewhat resistant to burning in sunny conditions; evergreen in mild climates; flowers attract butterflies and hummingbirds; increased tolerance of high heat and humidity; salt tolerant, black walnut tolerant
