·        Notes: dense, fast-spreading, ground-hugging perennial; forms mat of  delicate-textured, small, oak-like foliage which remains silver blue-green green throughout the season; most effective when planted in groupings; forms weed-suppressing groundcover; resilient to light foot traffic; intolerant of standing water; salt tolerant;  tolerant of urban pollution; deer resistant
