·        Use: focal plant in shade, Asian, and woodland gardens; borders; massed as ground cover; containers; cut flower

·        Care: low maintenance; remove foliage from dormant plant before new growth in spring; avoid over-watering

·        Notes: large, vigorous hosta with dense mounds of thick, wavy, sharply-pointed foliage; deeply-veined leaves are dark green with wide light-yellow borders ; mounds spread without division;  flowers attract hummingbirds and pollinating insects; rabbit resistant; less likely to be damaged by snails, slugs, and deer than most hosta varieties; tolerates some urban pollution
